Asan Operational Excellence (OpEx) Manager, you will be responsible for functioning as a key part of the Facility/ Operations Leadership teams to provide overall Operational Excellence leadership to the organization covering the following functions:

  • Continuous Improvement / Lean Manufacturing

  • Advanced Supply Chain Solutions


Operational Excellence Manager Job Summary

The OpEx Manager is at the forefront, driving continuous improvement through setting the agenda and targets for our warehouse facilities, transportations services and our contract services. As an OpEx Manager you set strategic planning to execution of Kaizen events and improvement initiatives, then follow-up on implementation and results. It is key to the role of OpEx Manager, to ensure a continuous development of the OpEx culture maturity level by building a strong continuous improvement culture at our facilities and all operations as well as realizing tangible business results. The OpEx Manager is at the forefront of continuous improvement efforts and ultimately responsible for ensuring value streams that not only flow at the rate of customer demand but are made visual in such a way and to such a degree that every employee in the organization can physically see that flow and fix the flow before it breaks down.

Responsibilities of an Operational Excellence Manager?


  • As the Leader of the Process team, owns and improves the standards that will be implemented throughout the value streams or areas/teams within tkSCS.

  • Responsible for driving, managing and developing the OpEx Culture to gain tangible business results and improvements in areas such as Productivity, Customer satisfaction, Quality and Safety.

  • Establish and develop Lean Leadership and performance management as a strong discipline to ensure that the OpEx culture is well respected and sustained; provide coaching/guidance in Lean, Standard Work, Gemba and Problem Solving.

  • Plan and conduct training in OpEx and Lean tools to include planning, facilitating and following up on Kaizen events and in systematic root cause and complex problem solving as needed to ensure practical application in continuous improvement become a natural part of everyday life at tkSCS.

  • Establish key objectives/ key results (OKR) and follow-up on the portfolio of projects, Kaizen and improvement initiatives to ensure results are measured and achieved, including monthly business reporting.

  • Support operational diagnostics to identify opportunities for improvement.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Operational or Business Management or related field required.

  • 5-7 years' experience in specified technology field with proven LEAN, continuous improvement principles, implementation and leadership ability in a continuous flow or industrial environment and working with logistics and supply chain facilities.

  • Prior experience with Training of LEAN tools

  • Grow and develop the team by sharing knowledge / experience.

  • Demonstrated or proven experience is Supply Chain Continuous Improvement Projects.

  • Organizational and analytical skills;

  • Basic computer knowledge and skills;

  • Acute attention to detail;

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills;

  • Problem-solving and trouble shooting skills;

  • Strong Project Management skills (Kaizen preferred)

  • Effective Team Player

  • Attention to accuracy and data integrity


Travel Requirements :
