The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Manufacturing Technology Engineer Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Lead web converting and packaging automation projects to deliver growth, capacity, service and/or operational improvements in CBG operations.


• Drive innovation within our operations using both internal and external technologies.


• Support new product commercialization through process development and deployment.


• Proponent of Data and Operational Analysis.


• Situational leader for continuous improvement in a diverse and cross-functional team environment.

Your Skills and Expertise 
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:

• Possess a Bachelor of Science degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution


• Minimum five (5) years of combined manufacturing, factory, project or design engineering experience in a private, public, government or military environment


• Possess current and valid Driver’s license

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering from an accredited University


• Packaging, automated assembly, robotic automation and/or web processing experience


• Passion for Industry 4.0 Manufacturing and Data Automation


• Project/Team leadership experience


• Self-starter, results driven behaviors

Travel: May include up to 25% domestic/international.

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Responsibilities of this position may include direct and/or indirect physical or logical access to information, systems, technologies subjected to the regulations/compliance with U.S. Export Control Laws.
