General Job Overview:
A member of the Employee Relations Case Management Team responsible for conducting investigations regarding allegations of basic policy violations and misconduct. Day to day responsibilities include researching and reviewing policies, reviewing employee information and data, preparing and executing an investigation plan, and summarizing and presenting findings. Provides coaching, guidance, and recommendations to HR Generalists, Business Leaders and employees for timely action and resolution.
Job Responsibilities:
Investigate allegations including developing and executing an investigative plan, documenting, reviewing, and drafting supporting documentation, and providing strategic insight to implement both immediate resolution and long-term prevention plans
Provide non-legal and workplace-related recommendations/insights directly related to an investigation in accordance with company policy and practice
Analyze employee relations case trends and in partnership with Employee Relations Manager recommend and develop individual market strategies to avoid employee relations and labor relations risk
Participate in key ER team projects and/or cross-functional team initiatives
Identify high-risk investigations and appropriately take partners
Assist with developing and presenting employee relations training
Basic Qualifications:
2 or more years of experience in Human Resources, Employee Relations or an Investigative environment
1 or more years of experience demonstrating written and verbal communication skills; experience providing a high-level overview of workplace issues, policies implicated, documentation and testimonial evidence gathered, and recommending a resolution.
Preferred Qualifications:
1 or more years of experience in Employee Relations (including investigation, company policy/procedure compliance, state/federal guidelines)
