Location: Harrisburg, Pennsylvania
Provides administrative support to all CHIP staff to assure continued efficiencies. This includes:
Maintain CHIP Image Filing queues and work with imaging support area, fulfillment and mailroom to resolve issues.
Member services inquiries for demographic information change requests.
Process returned mail.
Tracking completed work and provide weekly inventory reporting
Submission of Programmatic Change requests for any member of the CHIP staff.
Submit SIR requests and any purchasing requests to Workday.
Perform Access coordinator duties
Distribution and filing of CAPS reports as necessary
Wrike request contact, acting as forms manager for CHIP materials and letters.
CHIP Manual letter maintenance in the team Sharepoint site.
Performs special duties as needed.
Knowledge:
Knowledge of eligibility and enrollment requirements for the CHIP program.
Knowledge of the health care industry, including the operations of Capital BlueCross, Keystone Health Plan Central, and Medicaid.
A working knowledge of FACETs subsystems used for the administration of the members account.
Working knowledge of PC software and end user computing tools (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, WorkDesk and Outlook).
Knowledge of access coordinator duties and Workday.
Skills:
Ability to learn the CHIP application processing system (CAPS).
Due to the nature of this position must ensure compliance with HIPAA as well as (DHS) privacy rules.
Proven analytical and/or mathematical experience.
Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational skills and good researching skills.
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally both in verbal and in written formats on all levels of the Plan personnel and differing audiences such as members and government agencies to relay various types of information and answer eligibility and benefit questions.
Ability to handle daily workflow and adapt to changing priorities/procedures with minimal supervision.
Experience:
2 or more years related work experience.
Education, Certification, and Licenses:
Prefer a high school diploma or G.E.D.
Work Environment:
Sedentary work involving significant periods of sitting, talking, listening, keying and performing repetitive motions. Work requires visual acuity to perform close inspection of written and computer generated documents as well as a PC monitor. Working environment includes typical office conditions.
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of the job, the employee is frequently required to sit, use hands and fingers, talk, hear, and see. The employee must be able to work over 40 hours per week. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 5 pounds.
Key Interfaces:
Will report to CHIP Director and will work with a number of different areas within and outside of the organization to include Account Administration, Support Services, IT, DHS, County Assistance Offices and CHIP families.
