This position provides full time health and safety technical support for Tetra Tech Operating Unit projects. This position will support various government agencies and departments as well as commercial clients, and will be located in Pittsburgh, PA, with regular travel across the US.

Your Role :

Performing assigned H&S duties associated with the implementation of H&S programs and policies, and may include tasks such as preparation, review and implementation of project-specific Health and Safety Plans, conducting employee exposure assessments under direction of senior staff, auditing and workplace inspections, employee training, and other duties as assigned. This will be a client-facing position.

Must possess a valid driver's license in good standing and successfully pass a Department of Motor Vehicles background check.

Qualifications :

• A Bachelor of Science Degree from an accredited college or university in industrial hygiene or safety or a related field, plus a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in health and safety.
• Ability to work effectively individually and in teams
• Strong verbal and writing skills are required.
• Must be capable of performing mathematical computations common in industrial hygiene and safety engineering, including Algebra, logarithmic functions, calculus, and probability and statistics.
• Computer skills will be required, including in the use of Microsoft Windows products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe
• Must have strong English communication skills (verbal and written)
