Design, implement and manage global projects with business-critical outcomes and impact. Provide input into business process and systems design for multiple concurrent Research projects.


  • Project manage the design and implementation of Research Conferences projects and initiatives. Provide project management support or lead workstreams as part of larger business-critical projects.

  • Provide subject matter expertise and functional support for research Conferences Programs and Projects.

  • Support Research and Conferences strategies to positively impact Conferences and Research growth and retention, while looking for opportunities to optimize content quality, Research resources, and process improvements.

  • Ensures successful and effective implementation of all projects on-time and on-budget with high quality outcomes, and continued efficient and effective risk management and mitigation plans in place

  • Ensures successful project team leadership and participation, effective communications, relationship building and collaborative working partnerships with senior Research management, Conferences and all other project team participants/stakeholders throughout project completion.  

  • Ensures timely identification and successful resolution of issues/problems within projects.

  • Ensure project release work and all forms of project and process documentation are comprehensive, clear, current and timely.

  • Focuses on what's right for the business; leads and prioritizes based on business imperatives.

  • Ensures that all assigned Research projects demonstrate value, impact, and return on investment and satisfy all defined business requirements. Solid understanding of data and tools such as PowerBI, Excel, and Google Suite.

  • Leads by example across all assigned research projects ensuring that project resources are managed effectively, to ensure balanced and consistent load across projects and programs.

  • Communication and change are managed across Research to ensure successful adoption of program outcomes.

  • Point person for the Research organization for all matters related to the assigned programs/projects, including after delivery.

  • Demonstrates expertise in Research and Conference businesses and systems.

  • Successful contribution to the delivery of Gartner Research and Conferences business objectives by developing, implementing, and managing projects that deliver business-critical outcomes and impact.

  • Individual projects are managed, reported, and communicated throughout their lifecycle and deliver to defined objectives as expected in an effort to grow and scale the business.


Requirement:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher, ideally in a Business or Communications discipline.  

  • 5+ years business experience, with progressive responsibility, in an extremely fast paced work environment

  • Excellent business operations, project management, analytical, needs requirement & organizational skills, quick learner, IT literacy, numeracy, initiative, problem solving, rigor & attention to detail.

  • Excellent client service, communication & change management, collaboration, negotiation & influencing skills to manage diverse groups to reach successful outcomes

  • Able to work independently, be a collaborative team player, with excellent time management & prioritization skills, able to manage a heavy workload, multiple tasks, competing priorities & tight deadlines, maintaining complete control over process at all times
