The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Product Marketing Manager, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:


  • Utilizing subject matter expertise, lead the development of marketing message and content: build, refine and clearly articulate compelling and effective messaging, positioning, and differentiation for the clinician solutions speech-driven portfolio to create and project manage a diverse range of high-quality marketing assets, such as brochures, case studies, email campaigns, etc. 


  • Using customer insights and market intelligence to develop a comprehensive strategic marketing plan for existing product portfolio and for new product launches while also telling compelling client stories to highlight value delivered to market.


  • Creating and executing persona- and workflow-based marketing tactics, with solid understanding of buying decision makers and user of the company’s clinician solutions portfolio (focused on speech-driven solutions).


  • Managing the execution, reporting, follow-up and adjustment of marketing plan tactics.


  • Leveraging a strong understanding of speech, NLP, machine learning and related technologies to drive thought leadership in technology-driven solutions to combat burning industry issues and deliver cutting-edge content.


Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited university OR High School Diploma/GED or higher from an accredited institution and a minimum of twelve (12) years in Healthcare Information Technology) in lieu of the bachelor’s degree education requirement


  • Seven (7) combined years in Product Marketing, Marketing Management, Marketing Communications and/or Strategic Marketing or equivalent fields


  • Three (3) years in marketing healthcare IT solutions, especially clinician facing technologies


Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:


  • Masters degree in marketing, communications, HIM, HIT


  • Minimum of seven (7) years of combined marketing experience in Product Marketing, Marketing Management, Marketing Communications or Strategic Marketing


  • A minimum of three (3) years in marketing healthcare IT solutions, especially clinician facing technologies


  • Solid understanding of clinical documentation systems (especially electronic health records or EHRs) and workflows, physician and nursing workflows and concerns,


  • Broad knowledge of the healthcare space and healthcare IT industry, with deeper understanding of clinical documentation workflows, goals, frustrations, etc.


  • Deep understanding of issues relating to physicians, clinical documentation, assistive technologies


  • Experience with sales and marketing reporting platforms like Salesforce, Adobe Analytics, Power BI, Eloqua, etc.


  • Key characteristics include strategic thinker, creative, collaborative, knowledgeable, action-oriented, clear writing and messaging ability, fast learner, strong business acumen, outstanding influencing skills and excellent presentation skills.


Location: 3M HIS Office Location or Remote

Travel: May include up to 25% domestic
