We are currently searching for a skilled professional to join a well-known client's team as a RN Reconstitutor - Vaccination in Fresno, California. This role will serve as the health care professional for the site and advise the Event Operations Administrator (EOA) on operational activities related to vaccine protocols, storage, infection prevention, and control. RESPONSIBILITIES
Advise the EOA on test site set-up/location of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) donning and doffing station and placement of workstations
Test participant traffic flow to ensure adherence to infection control policy
Conduct temperature checks for all event staff prior to the start of the event
Report to EOA about test team members with temperature of 100.4 Fahrenheit or greater or any onset of COVID symptoms during test site operations
Maintain proper use of the provided PPE
Supervise and guide non-clinical staff regarding donning and doffing of PPE
Model appropriate donning and doffing PPE
Ensure social distancing from other test team staff at all times while on the test site
Set an example to all test site staff
Monitor vaccination site staff to ensure maintenance of social distancing in accordance with infection prevention and control policy
Notify EOA of any breaches of infection control policies
Prepare, properly maintain, and dispose of COVID vaccine
Provide guidance and supervise participants
Answer clinical questions related to COVID-19 asked by participants
Serve as initial first medical response on the test site to test participants who have medical needs while waiting for emergency response team
EXPERIENCE
Experience working on a solutions-based team
Excellent social and therapeutic communications skills
Strong knowledge of infection prevention and control measures
Good problem-solving and customer service skills
Ability to present a pleasant and professional demeanor at all times
EDUCATION
Valid and unrestricted license as a registered nurse in the state where performing COVID vaccinations
Bachelor's Degree preferred
