Responsible for executing continuous improvement across the manufacturing sites according to key strategic goals to achieve finance and performance commitments. Apply principles of Class A, project management, lean manufacturing and six sigma and other CI methodologies to support manufacturing operations. This role is hands on and directly accountable for business results. This will require the ability to contribute as an individual contributor across CI projects. This role will report direct line to Operational Excellence Management.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

· Support deployment of Operational Excellence initiatives in the plant. Examples of these programs and initiatives are Cost Saving Program, Class A, Workflow Lean Transformation, Quality Begins With Me, DMAIC Problem Solving, Lean Six Sigma, Total Productive Maintenance, etc. · With oversight from the OpEx Management, develops, coordinates and executes the Operational Excellence Annual Deployment Plan (ADP) · Assists site leadership team in selecting and prioritizing projects that align with plant goals and strategies. · Responsible for the sustaining and execution of cost saving program, metric tracking and reports within the site. · Ensures project tracking system and business results are maintain, and results are communicated/summarized monthly. · Participates in the deployment of Quality Begins With Me Program within the site. · Will assist in the development of the Enterprise Excellence Assessment action plan. · Maintain Class A roadmap and timeline to incorporate into the overall Operational Excellence Strategy · Performs related duties as required.

Expected Areas of Competence

° Direct involvement in continuous improvement projects. ° Strong analytical/statistical problem-solving tools (DMAIC/PDCA/8 Disciplines) ° Ability to support multiple projects and balance priorities. ° Broad business knowledge and ability to link customer needs with business processes. ° Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills. ° An understanding of Change Management. ° Advanced skills in MS Office and statistical software packages (Minitab, Visio, etc.).

Education/Experience Requirements

° Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field with Six Sigma or Lean Sigma certification preferred (Inside Certification or ASQ). ° 1 to 3 years of related experience required.

Travel Requirements

° This position requires travel up to 10%
