Customer Service Representative at Tennant Company

RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Creating and maintaining key data elements to ensure accurate output

  • Responsible for creating, updating and maintaining master records for Tennant North America customers

  • Investigating and interpreting information using a variety of internal and external sources

  • Managing multiple priorities

  • Act as a resource for incoming team members

  • Demonstrate excellent customer service to internal and external customers via phone, fax and email interactions

  • Act as a liaison to other departments on behalf of the team

  • Ensure the highest level of data quality, integrity and service

  • Support developing and improving master data management to increase operational efficiency and strengthen data governance

  • Various projects as assigned



REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:


  • High School diploma or equivalent plus two years' experience in a customer contact environment

  • Previous data entry and/or customer support experience preferred

  • Previous experience running and reviewing reports preferred

  • SAP experience preferred

  • Basic Excel

  • Work with in the Customer Master email inbox to complete customer requests in a timely manner as aligned to performance expectations

  • Anticipates, assesses, and responds effectively to the needs of diverse customers, both internally and externally, making excellent customer service a high priority

  • Works productively, plans, uses time and resources efficiently, follows through to completion

  • Identifies and prioritizes problems accurately, constructively, and in a timely manner

  • Interacts and communicates effectively with others across levels and departments
