What We’re Looking For:

The HR Operations Specialist plays a vital role in the employee experience at JAGGAER, providing HR services in North America and globally in alignment with our focus on customer success. The HR Ops Specialist will provide operational support throughout all phases of the employee lifecycle such as recruiting, onboarding, total rewards, retention, and offboarding.

Principal Responsibilities

Things You’ll Do:


  • Serve as a Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) administrator, responsible for the accurate and timely administration of employee changes in UltiPro/UKG (HRIS) and other HR systems

  • Serve as a back-up payroll administrator on an as needed basis, processing the organization’s payroll accurately and on time through UltiPro/UKG

  • Ensure accuracy of data through routine data audits and validation to identify discrepancies and missing data

  • Assist HR Team in reporting and compliance testing, and other federal and state government regulations and requirements

  • Assist with conducting, collecting data and reporting on 90-day and exit interviews

  • Provide routine and ad hoc reports in support of business objectives via compensation planning, compliance, staffing and other practices

  • Assist in successful, professional resolution of employee questions through monitoring HR mailbox and HR voicemail

  • Assist with the design and implementation, maintenance and evaluation of benefits, leave of absence and well-being programs

  • Shared responsibility for recruiting efforts, including but not limited to, posting requisitions, conducting initial resume and phone screens, in-person interviews, coordinating interview schedules and feedback sessions with hiring managers

  • Assist with logistics, set-up and presentation for New Hire Orientation and other onboarding programming

  • Research & recommend best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to further key business objectives and enhance the employee experience

  • Participates in HR projects in support of the global HR goals

  • Supports HR Business partners

  • Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements

What you will bring:


  • 3+ years’ experience in Human Resources

  • Familiarity with the various HR functions (recruiting, HRIS administration, benefits, employee relations, compliance)

  • Must be a self-starter with an ability to work well independently

  • Must be resilient and embrace change and process improvements

  • Experience in a face-paced, dynamic and collaborative work environment

  • Must possess excellent interpersonal, employee relation, documentation, presentation and communication skills, as well as, good judgment in communicating program information

  • Ability to analyze difficult and complex issues and to make recommendations for proper actions

  • Customer focus

  • Ability to conduct research and to prepare analyses and reports

  • Experience with an HRIS required (UltiPro/UKG a plus)

  • Experience with processing payroll preferred

  • aPHR/PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP or other related accreditations a plus

  • RTP (Morrisville, NC) location preferred
