Job Description:

Responsible for assisting Production Manager and Plant Leadership in managing/directing all floor activities of production personnel (including laundry, linen inspection, pack production, sterilization and packaging) in filling customer orders and complying with quality and customer requirements.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Provide direct support of all aspects of production in the assembly room, pack room, sterilization, and/or quarantine/finished goods area.


• Assign employees to appropriate work stations to optimize labor efficiency and material flow through production operation.


• Ensure production employees perform operations in compliance to Novo Health Services.


• Support new employees in all requirements of employee training program


• Support all efforts to improve “Key Performance Metrics” like scrap, loss, repair, re-wash, etc.


• Ensure that Standard Operating Procedures relating to the above area(s) are being followed.


• Monitor and control production supplies and inventory.


• Enforce quality and employee performance standards.


• Ensure that correct job methods are used.


• Assist in maintaining labor and supply costs within production budget.


• Enforce good housekeeping practices.


• All other duties as required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strong communication and organizational skills necessary in order to handle the multitude of a diverse employee population. Must maintain a productive working environment for all employees in their department to reach daily goals.  May participate the interview, selection, and performance management process of employees.

WORKING CONDITIONS: 

Work is performed in a fast-paced indoor production area with little exposure to dust and high temperatures; moderate exposure to noise; climate-controlled environment; controlled access.

EXPERIENCE:

1 to 3 years of production leadership experience required. Experience within the same or similar product field preferred.

EDUCATION:

High School Diploma or GED preferred.
