Department Overview

We apply our experience at the highest levels of government and private-public sectors to define cyber security strategies and risk management approaches. Our analysts are experienced in cloud, endpoint, and network security, compliance, and advanced persistent cyber threats. We offer consulting services on a wide range of cyber security topics, including teaming exercises, pen testing, vulnerability assessments, and mobile and web application security.

Job Description

The successful candidate will provide planning, strategy development, staffing, and consulting/advisory support to the PCA. Helps coordinate standards, policies and procedures with stakeholder agencies and organizations to integrate DoD strategic policy/guidance and create information advantages for DoD personnel, organizations, and DoD mission partners. The candidate will also participate in strategy sessions, assessments, and meetings to provide insights into subject matter and work proposed products through DoD staffing and approval processes.

Suggested Qualifications: 13 years of professional experience without a degree. 5 years of professional experience with a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education. 3 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree or no experience required with a related PhD or JD.

Required skills:

• Clearance Required: Top Secret/SCI




• Excellent verbal communication skills




• Demonstrated ability to write business reports and white papers




• Experience developing and participating in briefings to Senior-level executives within the DoD and/or private industry




• Experience supporting senior leadership in areas to include, but not limited to: preparation for meetings and speaking engagements, developing talking points, taking notes/meeting minutes, and providing trip/meeting support as needed




• Prior military or DoD civilian or DoD contractor experience




• Reside in the Washington, DC metropolitan area and be open to travel when necessary

Optional Skills:

• Pentagon staff experience highly preferred




• Ability to generate innovative ideas and challenge the status quo




• Ability to be self-motivated and demonstrate excellent time management and organizational skills




• Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team




• Strong analytical skills and initiative




• Work well under pressure, can meet tight deadlines, and is committed to work as and when required to complete projects
