The Lead Financial/Pricing Analyst is responsible for the preparation of price proposals, which meet all company policies and practices and government pricing regulations and for the preparation of historical pricing data.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Organizes and prepares assigned price proposals and assists in the preparation of all other proposals in accordance with company policies and practices and in accordance with government regulations, including but not limited to Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).


• Enters pricing information into the pricing system and assists in the preparation of a complete and accurate pricing volume for submittal to FlightSafety's various customers in accordance with government regulations.


• Prepares and maintains complete documentation on all pricing efforts and supports any audits of the pricing proposals.


• Analyzes historical information to provide sound pricing and documentation.


• Communicates with technical and operational personnel to insure accurate accumulation of pricing information.


• Represents the Manager of Pricing and Financial Analysis in support of all programs for pricing functions as requested.


• Reviews Financial Analyst's work as required.


• Provides training for new Financial Analysts and ensures compliance with existing procedures.

Knowledge, Skills and Ability:

• Basic knowledge of Windows applications including Excel.


• Solid knowledge of government proposal preparation.


• Ability to fluently read, write, speak and understand English.


• Ability to clearly relay information, both verbally and written, to others.

Education and Formal Training:

Bachelor's Degree in Business or five years of progressive experience in pricing and/or financial analysis within a DOD or DOE environment

Experience:

Five years of progressive experience in pricing and/or financial analysis within a

DOD or DOE environment.

Salary Range: $76,129 - $93,238
