A fully funded postdoctoral position is immediately availablein the Weiss/Cheng lab in the Department of Hematology at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. We are looking for a candidate that areinterested in therapeuticgenomeediting using next generation genome editors such as Base Editor or Prime editors. Thecandidate will study the interplay between genomeeditors and different types blood cells (such HSCs, other progenitors and erythroid cells) anddevelop and optimize noveltreatment forgenetic blood disorders.In this position, thecandidatewill gain extensive experience and training in genomics, stem cell biology, and pre-clinical study.
