Your challenges



  • Partner with subject matter experts to develop content with clearly articulated course objectives, learner outcomes, assessment criteria and sustainment plans. Creates eLearning courses, training videos and associated training materials. Supports training in a producer capacity.

  • Review course outcomes regularly to assess course design theories as they play out over time, to identify creative solutions for course improvements, and to recommend need for revision (re-entry into the development cycle) Develop appropriate KPIs for ongoing improvement and alternative training methods if expected improvements are not seen.

  • Educates subject matter experts on Adult Learning Principles and learning theory. Share information and teaches SMEs a variety of instructional techniques or formats, such as role playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos, or lectures.

  • Maintains current knowledge of emerging trends and technologies related to learning and development and training for continuous improvement

  • Partners with Subject Matter Experts to evaluate modes of training delivery, such as in-person or virtual to optimize training effectiveness. Offers structure and guidance to ensure high quality training experiences.

  • Obtains, organizes or develops training materials and coordinates learning engagement activities.

  • Collaborates with and acts as backup for Commercial Training Coordinator on the Eppendorf's Commercial Training program.




Your expertise



  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; and two years' related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Minimum of two (2) years' experience with LMS content development and design


  • Clear understanding and application of Adult Learning Theory and Instructional Design

  • Knowledge of SCORM tools: specifically, Adobe Captivate, Adobe Articulate

  • Proficiency in MS Office 365 programs

  • Capability of effective planning and priority setting

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills essential to success in this position

  • Ability to travel up to 10 percent domestically with potential to limited international travel
