Summary of Position:
The primary function of the Door Division Warehouse Manager is the responsibility of all areas of warehouse maintenance, product storage and the management of warehouse employees. They will provide leadership by establishing clear expectations and demonstrating high standards of work practices.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Maintain health and safety compliance in accordance with company policy
Manage inventory accuracy by monitoring daily warehouse activities, load checking, cycle counts, stock rotation, non-stock items, return's for credit and the unloading of shipments to the yard.
Managing the daily operations of a warehouse and support fleet operations assuring timely and cost effective service levels
Training new warehouse/driver personnel
Liaison between sales and project management teams, drivers, customers and warehouse personnel
Be able to organize the warehouse and manage bin locations
Establish, maintain and promote high standards of customer service
Provide dispatch support as needed / required
Ensure that equipment is maintained to company operating standards
Must be able to think for yourself-problem solve
Have the ability to perform shop work as needed
Other Competencies:
Ability to self-manage, show initiative and be proactive
Communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing to coworkers and customers
Basic Qualifications:
High School diploma
Minimum of 5 years of related work experience
Demonstrated knowledge of construction industry and building materials
Computer skills including operation of the Comsense software platform
Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift 50 pounds
Frequently, will move about inside the office and warehouse
Must be able to operate door shop tools and equipment
Must be able to communicate with team and management and be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
