ENGIE is hiring a Program Manager located in Columbus, OH. Working in a self-managed team concept, the Program Manager - ECM will be a part of the ENGIE Buckeye Operations (EBO) capital projects team based at Ohio State Columbus campus. This candidate is responsible for managing the 10-year, $250M energy conservation measures (ECM) program which requires EBO to reduce total energy consumption per square foot on the Ohio State Columbus campus by at least 25% in 10 years.

What you'll do:


  • Under the supervision of the CEO, Ohio State Energy Partners, lead and deliver the ECM program with the internal target of achieving 35% EUI reduction by 2027.

  • Manage project manager(s), co-op and intern students, and any other support position working in the ECM program.

  • Manage the Master Service Agreements (MSA) with the three energy service companies (ESCOs) supporting the ECM program. Ensure buildings are appropriately audited for energy savings, cost-efficient ECM ideas selected, and developed into attractive projects for approval by Ohio State. Ensure projects are executed on time, under budget, with no health, safety, environmental, and public relations incidents.

  • Manage the relationship with Ohio State's Facilities Operations and Development (FOD) organization, as well as the building managers during the audit, development, and execution of ECM projects.

  • Further develop and implement the value-add applications within the Smart Institutions platform

  • Develop and maintain good relationships with the ENGIE subsidiaries and our partners.

  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with the University staff;

  • Liaise with ENGIE entities and colleagues for knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

What you bring:


  • Bachelor of Science in engineering or a relevant degree with 7 plus years of relevant experience

  • PMP certification is a plus.

  • For this position, you must have evidence of right to work in the U.S. There is no employer sponsorship of U.S. residency or work authorization with this role.
