The Banquet Manager will be responsible for the management of all aspects of the banquet department and must also direct, implement and maintain a service and management philosophy which serves as a guide for respective staff while emphasizing the importance of quality customer service. The banquet manager must have knowledge of all room setups, service styles and requirements. Some duties include participating in meetings with the sales/coordinating manager and chef to coordinate menus and equipment needed and preparing work schedules for staff. We are seeking a detail-oriented and capable leader who can effectively manage a department under the standards of Shaner Hotels and franchise (if applicable.)

High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred. Minimum of three years of experience as a banquet captain/assistant banquet manager. FOODHandling certification desirable. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
