Concentric Methods is seeking a Registered Nurse-Intensive Care Unit to provide full time care to our deserving Air Force in the Intensive Care Unit at the WPAFB Medical Treatment Facility at Wright Patterson AFB, OH.

Hours of Operation: Employees will be required to work 12-hour shifts rotating between 8 to 10 weeks of day shift, and 8 to 10 weeks of night shift. Day shift hours are 05:45 - 18:15. Night shift hours are usually from 17:45 - 06:15. A 30-minute unbillable lunch break is included in each shift.

The work week runs from Sunday - Saturday. Typically, a 2-week work period would be as follows: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, then Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. In a 2-week work period the employee will work 3-12 hours shifts one week then 3-12 hour shifts with an 8 hour shift the second week. The days of the rotating 2-week work pattern can change based on staffing/mission.

Core Duties:


  • Coordinate patient care in collaboration with a wide array of healthcare professionals

  • Facilitate the achievement of optimal outcomes in relation to clinical care, quality, and cost effectiveness

  • Ensure compliance with standards of care and practice in accordance with all established policies, procedures, and guidelines used in the MTF

  • Perform physical exam and health histories

  • Provide health promotions, counseling, and education

  • Administer medications, wound care, and numerous other personalized interventions

  • Direct and supervise care provide by other healthcare professionals

  • Accountable for making patient care assignments based on the scope of practice and skill level of assigned personnel

  • Recognize adverse signs and symptoms and quickly react in emergency situations

  • Communicate and collaborate with a diverse group of people for the purpose of informing the healthcare team of plans/actions, for teaching/education to benefit the patient/family and organization

  • Make referral appointments and arrange specialty care as appropriate

  • Perform nursing services identified in the TO

  • Conduct research in support of improved practice and patient outcomes
