Clerk, Quality Control- 1st shift at Inmar, Inc.

Job Description:

Position Summary: 

The Quality Control (QC) Clerk performs quality control checks/audits on processor production in the Hospital, Manufacturing, Rx/Retail and Controls Substance Departments as well as the Sort/Shipping Departments/PID. The QC Clerk works at the direction of the QC Manager and or QC Lead. 

 

Primary Accountabilities: 


  • Have a clear understanding of QC SOP as well as related responsibilities within QC Department.


  • 100 percent perform quality checks and fulfill collected/submitted “QC” labeled iTag products.


  • Perform quality checks on randomly selected totes and or boxes on  processed products. 


  • Perform quality checks on processed pallets.


  • Perform quality checks on pallets for accuracy.


  • Perform quality checks on sorter completed boxes/totes for accuracy.


  • Utilizing the QC program in Informix, individually scan each iTag, checking, documenting and correcting for errors.  


  • Effectively manage daily QC Error Sheet/s.


  • Effectively document and report all errors to the QC manager/lead or the Processing supervisor/lead.


  • Meet daily QC productivity numbers.


  • Have a good understanding of SOPs of the assigned department/PID.


  • Maintain professionalism at all times.


  • Escalate significant events (i.e., Diversion, Adverse Events, Informix slow down, etc.)


  • Complies with Company rules and regulations as stipulated in the Company Warehouse Associate Handbook.



  • Clocking in and out at the appropriate location and at the correct time.


  • Overtime as scheduled.


  • Follow all safety and security rules.


  • Keeps work area clean and organized


  • Other duties and tasks as assigned.


Required Qualifications:


  • Must successfully pass a background and drug test verification


  • High School diploma preferred or its equivalent; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to complete the responsibilities of this position.


  • Working knowledge of computers


  • 10 key experience preferred.



  • Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills.


  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.


  • Ability to maintain professionalism at all times as well.



  • Bi-Lingual in English and Spanish preferred.


  • Minimum of 1 year tenure with company preferred
