Weston & Sampson is hiring a Project Engineer with our Water Discipline with 5-10 years of experience in our Reading, MA office. The candidate will have experience with Site Civil design and permitting services.



What you'll do:

• prepare site civil, land development, stormwater, and utility designs,
• prepare commercial and residential site plans and specifications for permitting and construction,
• file applications and permits and attend public hearings to support the applications for land use projects
• handle flexible workload, manage multiple projects simultaneously, coordinate multiple disciplines, and work well with multiple staff members in a team environment

What you will bring:

• BS in Civil or Environmental (or equivalent) Engineering is required.
  • MS or licensure is a plus,
• Experienced with HydroCAD or other stormwater modeling software;
• A strong skill set both with basic AutoCAD and with Civil 3D.
• Strong presentation skills capable of attending public hearings at municipal level representing the client
  • Experience with private development is a plus,
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and organizational/time management skills are required.
• Some travel will be required to client meetings and project sites and a valid driver's license is required.
• Possessing high ethical standards, committed to producing high quality work, with a commitment to teamwork, respect, and integrity.
