Job Description

Zendesk is looking for an accomplished AdOps Marketing Manager to join the Performance Marketing team and to oversee ad trafficking operations and new technology and vendor activations. This is an exciting opportunity for an AdOps marketing enthuist with a proven track record of running successful advertising operations for complex global campaigns with multiple products and audiences in a dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate will be an AdOps ninja, highly analytical, high attention to detail, and who is excited by the challenge to further expand and optimize our paid-media operations at Zendesk.

Responsibilities:


  • Serve as the technical authority and a subject matter specialist for all internal and external questions related to ad delivery and tracking globally.

  • Own and ensure accurate naming convention and tracking of ads across all channels and vendors

  • Work closely with media buyers, marketing analytics, and marketing ops to ensure accurate attribution of all paid media ads

  • Execute and end-to-end delivery and perform diligent and detail oriented QA with key partners for ads, lead gen forms, landing pages, etc.

  • Own and support new and existing vendors' onboarding, operations and ensure alignment between media buyers, procurement, security, and finance teams.

  • Provide strategy and consultation to media buyers and marketing managers on the correct setup of campaigns, tagging, and vendor onboarding/management.

  • Build and maintain a safe-serve knowledge base to support different marketing teams.



Desired Skills and Experience:


  • 3+ years of hands-on experience running Ad trafficking and operations.

  • Strong familiarity with HTML and Javascripts as it pertains to tags and tag structure

  • High attention to detail and ability to anticipate problems before they arise

  • Hands-on experience with GTM (Google Tag Manager), GA (Google Analytics), and UTM tracking

  • Experience building cross-tag triggers and maintaining/proactively solving for tracking concerns

  • Analytical approach with knowledge and understanding of media buying, database structure, and technology!

  • Quick learner of new technologies, tools, and processes; ability to navigate in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly

  • Proficiency in Excel is a must: Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF formulas are your friends

  • Excellent project management skills with proven ability to meet the deadline!

  • BA/BS required
