Mission
Role Mission
The RTR Manager position will be responsible for supporting accounting functions in North America. This position is pivotal in ensuring the timely and accurate financial close for US and Canada. The RTR Manager will be responsible for supervising a small high-performance team, driving continuous improvements, managing reconciliations/account maintenance, and assisting the Director of Global Business Services expand our business offerings.

Job Responsibilities

  • Direct team on core financial reporting, general ledger management, account reconciliation, inventory accounting, fixed assets, key controls, audit readiness, relationship building, and monthly close activities.
  • Set priorities for the team including specific goals and track performance targets; leverage team strengths to achieve objectives
  • Oversee and assist with preparation and communication of periodic reconciliations, adjustment entries, and improve accounting processes for items flowing through general ledger
  • Lead management of indirect tax filings, payment remittance, and reconciliations
  • Accountable for consigned inventory depletion billings, reconciliations, and reporting
  • Prepare, analyze, and review assigned Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Reports
  • Responsible for providing support to internal and external auditors, reviewing risk and control matrixes, and contributing to a strong internal control environment
  • Investigate and drive resolution of aged transactions for key accounts
  • Drive efficiency gains and ensure the high quality of financial accounts
  • Implement business plans to enhance processes and support continued automation and analytics
  • Document operational tasks and end to end process flows to identify key areas of improvement
  • Partner with business leaders to develop and achieve strategic business objectives
  • Coordinate with GBS team members on various projects to promote short-term and long-term performance.  These strategic initiatives will require integration with other departments.

Desired Qualifications


  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business degree
  • Years of experience: At least 5 years of prior accounting/finance experience, 1 of which must be supervising others
  • Knowledge of working with enterprise resource planning systems (SAP) and  an understanding of consolidated financial reporting systems (SAP Business Objects and SAP BPC)
  • Fluent in the interpretation of financial data in Excel and the ability to quickly perform ad-hoc analysis
 
Additional qualifications desired : 

  • Certified Public Accountant, Certified Managerial Accountant, or master's degree in accounting, finance, or business
  • Experience working for a large public accounting firm
  • Experience with SAP, SAP Business Objects and SAP BPC (Business Planning, and Consolidations) software (S4/HANA)
  • Experience with data visualization systems
  • Experience working with RPA
