Cold Plane Operator (Statewide, Maine): We are seeking a qualified, safety minded individual to operate the Cold Planer for a milling crew based in Maine. The selected candidate should be familiar with operating equipment; previous experience on a Cold Plane Mill is preferred.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to: promoting and providing a safe working environment, working knowledge of equipment used during road construction operations, and routine maintenance and cleaning of the mill.  Travel will be throughout the State of Maine and may include travel to New Hampshire, and Vermont. Classification: Seasonal hourly position.

Requirements:

• Must be committed to providing and promoting a safe work environment.


• Extended hours with possible night and/or weekend work as well as overnights.


• The willingness to travel to other Pike locations throughout Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont when needed.


• A valid driver’s license.
