We currently have an immediate need for a Hardware Diagnostic Engineer.  In this role you will develop test suites for embedded hardware designs for the Access Control and Video Systems business. Apply your expertise in diagnostic engineering to contribute with schematic reviews, prototype bring-up, HW design verification, and ATE programs for manufacturing test engineering.  

How you will do it: 


  • Work as part of the Hardware Engineering team 

  • Participate in HW development from the initial stages 

  • Work with HW, FW, and Operations to develop complete HW test programs 

  • Document test suites and create test procedures 

What we look for: 

Required:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, or similar degree 

  • 5 years of Hardware Engineering experience; HW development process & ability to read schematics 

  • 5 years of experience with C Programming and scripting languages (Python etc)

  • 5 years of developer of Hardware Diagnostic test code; Prototype PCB bring-up, Memory testing, COM port & Create ATE code to be used in production

  • 2 years of experience with Linux operating system 

  • 2 years of experience with ARM Cortex-A7 & Cortex-M4 processor architecture 

Preferred:


  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, or similar degree
