Powder Associate III - $18.00, 1st Shift

Overview

Job Description Summary:

This position will be responsible for assisting in the Powder Booth process. The Powder Booth Associate will work in an assembly-line environment where our product is powder coated, oven-baked, and conveyed to a packaging station. This position reports to the Operations Supervisor.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The duties and responsibilities of the Powder Associate III will consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

Required to work in a booth setting utilizing a spray gun to coat the product
• Determine project requirements, including scope and required methods and materials, according to blueprints, drawings, and written or verbal instructions


• Work closely with production, management and quality assurance personnel on adherence to establish quality standards per assignment

Requirements:

• 
  Work Experience: 2 years of prior experience in fast-paced manufacturing environment/Powder Coating experience needed

  Education: High School Diploma

  Computer Skills: Basic computer skills


• 
  Organization Skills: Maintain clean and organized work space


• 
  Cross-functional skills: Ability to work and handle multiple job assignments


• 
  Communication Skills: Ability to communicate within a team setting


• 
  Physical, Mental and Visual Skills: Ability to lift, bend, and twist throughout the workday. Also will be required to lift between 50 to 100lbs.

  Physical Environment: Fast-paced manufacturing environment

Preferred Requirements:

  Cross-functional skills: Ability to work and handle multiple job assignments which include working in the spray booth, operating forklift, cherry pickers and other machinery
