TK Elevator is seeking a Front-End Developer to join its team in Atlanta, GA.
As the Front-End Developer, you will be responsible for UI framework and design for multiple applications and websites in our fast-paced and forward-thinking marketing team in Atlanta, GA. Your primary focus implementing styles/design for the site(s) and establish standards.
Essential Job Functions
Gain a sound understanding of our development environment, identify UI/UX technology gaps and lead projects to close those gaps
Participate in defect triage and work with project team to resolve prioritized UI/UX defect fixes
Collaborate with software developers to deliver compelling web-based UI tools to enhance productivity of developers
Focus on UI design principles and making apps work intuitively.
Work closely with developers on the team to ensure project is being executed efficiently and meeting time and impact goals.
Engage with developers in discussions about product and interaction design.
Provides reasonable task and project cost/effort estimates.
Creates required technical documentation.
Adheres to documented departmental and corporate standards. May participate in the definition and documentation of standards.
Collaboratively works with QA/UX to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
Design UX solutions to create smooth user flows and user interactions
Serve as a subject matter expert for all UX problems that surface
What we look for
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field/Equivalent work experience
5+ years relevant work experience in website and application development
Hands on experience in HTML/CSS/Javascript is must.
Experience in angularJS/angular (7/8) is very important.
Having good understanding with client-side development technologies, including jQuery, Ajax and bootstrap is necessary.
Experience building and managing large-scale websites
Extensive knowledge of the latest front-end web technology trends
Expert knowledge with front-end optimization techniques
Established expertise in developer tools or software development lifecycle (SDLC) systems (continuous integration, version control, source code repositories, build systems, package management, deployment tools, test frameworks, etc.)
Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
Solid organizational skills and attention to detail
Working knowledge of web analytics like Google Analytics
Experience working with an iteration-based development process such as SCRUM
