As the Operations Training Manager, you will provide comprehensive training and development programs to teams in various facilities. What you'll do on a typical day:

• Develop, write, maintain and coordinate training modules for a variety of specialties, including quality assurance (QA), powered industrial truck (PIT) operations, pick, pack and ship processes, safety, loss prevention, people management, warehouse management systems (WMS), etc.


• Oversee the development of training videos and/or films; maintain the library of training aids


• Schedule training sessions; ensure facility and audio-visual equipment is set up and that employees are notified


• Develop a means of measuring the effectiveness of divisional training programs through testing, surveys, etc.


• Identify required core competencies and address any skill gaps


• Train instructors and supervisors in techniques and skills for training and interacting with employees


• Determine and implement career development plans for each training department employee

At a minimum, you'll need:

• 4 years of related work experience


• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience


• 3 years of management experience


• 2 years of training, teaching or related experience


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills


• Creative and visual graphic design ability
