Job Description:

The F&I Manager is responsible for producing revenue for the dealership through the sales of finance and insurance programs, extended service contracts and aftermarket sales items to new and used vehicle customers, managing the sales administration team/support personnel to ensure accuracy and timely processing of all required filings to meet federal, state and local vehicle financing and titling transaction requirements. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Treat every single customer with dignity, honesty and respect.Provide customers with a thorough explanation of aftermarket products and extended service contracts. Educate customers on the benefits of financing versus paying cash. Meet with customers to obtain credit application, financials and all necessary documents to achieve approval on commercial deals. Sell dealer financing to customers. Submits financing and lease deals accurately and fairly through financial sources to secure approval. Processes all federal, state and dealer paperwork related to vehicle transactions in a timely, efficient matter and reviews all paperwork for correct title, lien information, taxes, and fees. Be knowledgeable about rates and banks/financing sources. Be available for a finance and insurance turnover of every retail customer, both new and used.Execute finance contracts. Ensure that all documents submitted to finance source are accurate and complete.Conduct business in accordance with all state, federal and local laws, as well as, in accordance with the policies of Trans Lease Instruct sales personnel in the methods to secure maximum profit from each sale, both front and back gross.Maintain the highest professional level relationship with financing sources, OEM, and otherwise, to obtain the most favorable financing terms. Work with Sales Managers to secure a reasonable profit from every sale.Insure that all paperwork is completed and accurate prior to forwarding to corporate finance. Maintain a daily operating control report for Finance and Insurance. Maintain a daily lost finance income report to inform the dealership on lost deals and reason(s) why. Establish and meet monthly objectives in product penetration and gross per vehicle retail. Travel with the sales staff to meet with and present available finance options to customers and assist in facilitating the deal.Supervise administrative positions pertaining to the sales process and oversee day- to-day duties of the sales administration department team members. Meet weekly with sales administration team to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of services to internal and external customers. Establish, effectively communicate and evaluate performance objectives of sales administration team members to ensure achievement of department goals, objectives and performance metrics. Conduct periodic/annual performance evaluations/reviews of sales administration team members and recommend performance merit awards and/or incentives for sales administration team members. Occasional travel may be required to meet with customers and/or financial/banking resources. * Other duties as assigned. Work Environment & Physical Abilities: * Requires frequent sitting for prolonged periods of time in an office setting. Work Environment and Physical Abilities Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator and other office equipment. Ability to communicate providing verbal feedback in a professional manner. Ability to receive and analyze data and input into the computer. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. Normal range of hearing and vision. Required Education, Experience, Knowledge & Skills Required Education, Experience, Knowledge & SkillsBachelor Degree in Business Management, Finance, and/or related field. Minimum of 5 years in Finance and Insurance industry experience. Titled transportation equipment knowledge is required. Equipment finance experience is recommended. Strong excel skills and proficient with all Microsoft applications Valid Driver's License with good standing MVR * Ability to successfully complete a General Abilities Assessment and pass a post offer background check, physical and drug screening. The successful candidate will be self-motivated with a strong sales aptitude and willingness to learn and grow.
