Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY

The Account Manager – Client Contracts is responsible for managing strategic procurement accounts and portfolios for CuraScript SD. This role’s primary responsibility is to support strategic accounts' business needs and align internal stakeholders. This position is responsible for tactical and strategic communications to internal and external stakeholders. This role aligns and coordinates portfolio management, contract management, implementation, information technology, reporting, sales, accounting and finance on behalf assigner accounts. This role contributes to procurement process improvement initiatives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS


  • Manage daily account management activities and escalations.  

  • Work with internal customers and accounts to understand trends, identify opportunities, ensure limited service disruptions and assist in root cause analysis and corrective action.

  • Manage overall account relationship and provide updates to leadership.

  • Possess solid written and verbal communication skills.

  • Communicate with all levels of management and both internal and external customers and possess solid follow through skills, attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks and daily deadlines.

QUALIFICATIONS


  • Bachelors or Masters degree preferred, High School Diploma required.

  • 5+ years of relevant procurement, supply chain or account management experience; 3+ years with Bachelors, or 1+ years with a Masters is preferred.

  • Healthcare or pharmacy experience is a plus.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, and experience with Business Objects is a plus.

  • Demonstrated ability to interface with internal customers in a professional and ethical manner.

  • Comfortable handling solving complex situations in a high-speed environment.

  • Solid written and verbal communication and time management skills.

  • Basic financial and business acumen.
