Our business is currently seeking an energetic, astute individual who thrives in a fast-paced work environment! We have an opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced Procurement professional to join our Procurement team at our Warrick Operations. Activities will include:

Main Responsibilities

• Negotiate contractual agreements with suppliers for goods and services to support Warrick Operations


• Conduct sourcing activities or other commercial negotiations to generate cost savings or cost avoidance opportunities


• Manage contractual agreements and supplier relationships to ensure that the location needs are being met


• Implement corrective action strategies to address issues with suppliers


• Complete monthly compliance testing to ensure global procurement procedures are being followed


• Serve as procurement’s front line contact for the location customers


• Handle emergency purchases and/or emergencies requiring action from identified suppliers


• Proactively identify location needs in order to allow procurement to be ahead of the plant’s future needs


• Coordinate with additional resources within Alcoa procurement to engage commodity management, direct materials, and or transportation procurement resources as needed to support the location.
