If you are an ELECTRONIC ASSEMBLER professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you!  Based in our EAST WENATCHEE, WA  location, you will assemble on site, custom designed, state-of-the-art instrumentation, pressure transmitters & temperature probes that are used all over the world.  Our customized units measure pressure and temperature in a host of applications from oil wells to satellites.
 
AS AN ELECTRONIC ASSEMBLER, YOU WILL: 


  • Perform routine documented tasks at workstations to build custom manufactured transducer products under a microscope with specialized tools and processess

  • Perform multiple production tasks to allow for effective job rotation

  • Rework and repair electronic component assemblies at different work operation levels


  • Verify part quality, employ SPC technicques and take appropriate action to ensure conformance to specfications

  • Follow documented steps using Work Order Instructions and peform electronic transactions in the business operating system a needed

  • Perform tasks such as hand soldering, brazing and apply coatings

  • Inspect and or make repairs on standard assemblies as needed

  • Participate in organizing 5-S activities and follow safety procedures
WHO YOU ARE:

You learn quickly when facing new situations.  Separate and combine activities into efficient workflows.  You provide calmness and productivity, even when things are unclear.  You readily action new challenges, without unnecessary planning.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:


  • High School Diploma or a General Equivalency Degree (GED)   

  • Zero (0) Months Related Experience

  • Must be able to read, write, speak English to follow written instructions and drawings

  • Soldering Experience

  • Ability to sit for 5.5+ hours a day  

  • U.S. Person per ITAR Regulations  

 PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:  


  • Electronic Assembly/Component work a plus

  • Welding a plus

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus

  • Experience with work orders or blue prints/drawings a plus

  • Fine motor skill coordination/dexterity skills
