Shore United Bank is looking for a Branch Banking Representative (formerly Teller/CSR) to join our team. A Branch Banking Representative is a front-line, customer facing position responsible for professionally interacting with clients to take care of their financial needs. This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service including efficient and accurate transaction processing. The representative is skilled in customer conversations, asking questions to determine the best solutions to meet the financial needs of our customers. Additional responsibilities are as follows:
Essential Functions
Handle customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, night deposits, settling and maintaining the ATM, and balancing the cash drawer.
Perform customer requests including but not limited to check orders, re-issuing debit cards, address changes, ATM disputes, and safe deposit box entry.
Provide superior customer service through conversation to identify client needs, in person and over the phone.
Promote the bank's products and services through beneficial customer conversations to help the customer meet their financial needs.
Work closely with bank partners for client referrals to Merchant, Wye Financial, Commercial Relationship Managers, and Branch Lenders.
Aid customers in managing and optimizing their bank accounts and other products.
Maintain the highest level of confidentiality with all information obtained.
Perform as a team member in allocating and coordinating the workflow.
Contribute to the fulfillment of branch and company objectives and goals.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time non-exempt position, Monday through Saturday.
Required Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
Prior experience in a cash handling and customer service role required
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
Strong knowledge of bank products and services
Knowledge of bank policies and procedures
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities daily
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of accuracy
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Prior experience in banking is preferred
Ability to maintain confidentiality with customer information
Proficient computer skills; specifically, Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook desired
Ability to work in a team environment
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
Knowledge of Jack Henry, Xperience or other banking software
Travel This position may require local area travel to attend ongoing training, community events, and staff meetings.
