Learn every functional area within Operations by successfully completing an extensive training program designed to enable advancement into Operational Leadership roles within the Company. Collaborate with experienced members of the Lineage Operations and Sales team to implement key tasks in a highly supportive environment.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Participate in educational sessions focused on teaching foundational concepts and leadership principles
Learn side-by-side assigned seasoned leaders using the shadow-do-lead methodology
Support the implementation and achievement of established warehouse performance targets regarding cost, productivity, customer service, and profits
Support the day-to-day management of operational procedures regarding product movement, people resources, and required documentation
Ensure all decisions/actions comply with in-country and local regulations meant to establish and practice a culture of safety among the team members
Complete and obtain sign-off on all playbook tasks by the end of the program
Meet SMART performance goals and targets set by upper management and determined upon accepting position
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business management, logistics management or related field; or 2 years relevant civilian or military experience
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
Desire to learn from the ground-up, including the ability to work on skills needed to be successful
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization
Ability to effectively present information to customers, clients, and employees of the organization
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to deal with ambiguity
Abilityto relocate for initial training period and for post-program placement, if required
Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear
Some locations require being comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud
