Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Royalties Accountant in Foster City, CA.
Primary Responsibilities:
Essential processes owned include global monthly royalty calculations for accruals and estimated royalty rates, compilations of external statements & payments, interaction with external auditors and 3rd party auditors and partners' support
Responsible for the review, interpretation and set-up of development licensing contracts
Interpret contractual terms and conditions
Set-up & updating contracts
Calculate development of expensed advance amortization, if applicable
Ensure 100% compliance to all financial commitments and obligations; This includes: Prepaid advances development milestone payments; Minimum guarantees; Monthly or quarterly royalty disbursements; Marketing and sponsorship fees; Publisher assistance
Participate in the monthly, quarterly and year-end close processes
Support monthly forecasting and annual planning process
Assist on compilation of management reporting packages & analysis
Prepare and maintain assigned audit schedules
REQUIREMENTS:
3+ years of royalty accounting experience
Strong XLS as well as SAP
Candidates qualifying for this position will have similar experience along with the skills and abilities to perform the duties mentioned
Any relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
