Job Description:

Zurich /RCIS are currently looking for a Seasonal Crop Adjuster, temporary role with flex hours to work out of Central Tennessee area. This incumbent will work from their home office.

What does the day to day look like?

• Working from home, being out on a farm in your community/assigned territory.


• Investigate, evaluate and conclude field inspections by following regulatory and company rules and procedures.


• Ensuring that claims are handled in the most effective, efficient way while delivering a customer-centric level of claims service.

Our ideal candidate will live in the following areas:

The person must reside within 100 miles of Crossville, Tennessee. This territory will also include surrounding cities/counties.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 6 or more months of experience in the agricultural area


• Crop Adjuster Proficiency Program Certification (CAPP) must be obtained within 180 days of hire date


• Reliable personal transportation and travel within territory


• RCIS Seasonal Crop Adjuster Physical Requirements:

  • Walk in agricultural fields up to 3 miles
  
  
  • Climb agricultural storage bins up to 25 feet
  
  
  • Lift 25 to 50 lbs.
  
  
  • Work outdoors in varying temperatures/weather conditions
  
  
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills


• Strong organization and prioritization skills


• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
