UNFI - Tony's Fine Foods is growing and is looking for Loaders to join our team in West Sacramento, CA! As a company critical to the needs of everyday people, we are remaining open despite the ongoing situation with COVID-19 and are looking to hire people just like YOU to help keep America fed and stocked with supplies.

$18.00 Hourly

Full Time Shifts Available

Sunday - Friday (Saturday off, Other two days off TBD) 8:30am - 6:30pm /10 hours shifts

Summary: Inspects, wraps and loads completed pallets and product into outbound trailers by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.


  1. Adds any additional product such as backfilled and/or merges product to pallets.*


  1. Wraps pallets and marks if necessary.*


  1. Loads pallets into trailers according to truck map.*


  1. Sets up trailers for loading by adding center walls and setting temperatures.*


  1. Inspects completed pallets for product integrity making necessary adjustments when needed.*


  1. Inspects equipment for safety and fills out inspection sheet.


  1. Keeps work area clean and organized.

Language Ability:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Math Ability:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Pallet jack

  • Wrapping machine
