POSITION: MASSAGE THERAPIST DEPARTMENT: SPA/HEALTH CLUB DIVISION: P66 PROPERTY: HGC
REPORTS TO: SPA&SALON MANAGER

Job Summary:

The Massage therapists' are responsible for performing quality massages and body treatments in accordance to spa service standards. Therapists will maintain the cleanliness of treatment rooms according to department standards and prepare rooms as well as begin services at scheduled appointment times.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Offer the highest level of personalized service while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic, helpful attitude with all guests and team members

Ensures an exceptional guest experience by providing consistent quality treatments

Provides water treatments/services (training provided)

Demonstrates exceptional knowledge of spa and salon services as well as products used in services including their ingredients and benefits

Overseeing daily appointment calendar and ensuring schedule flows seamlessly throughout the day

Uphold all protocols for set-up, shut down and cleanliness of treatment rooms

Handle guest questions and concerns with professionalism

Check for schedule updates throughout shift

Take guests promptly for all services

Communicate Service upgrades or Service changes to Spa Coordinator

Properly care for equipment and product used

Participates in inventories

Stock professional supplies in dispensaries

Report any service issues immediately

Transport soiled linen to appropriate bins

Assist as a spa attendant when needed

Reports lost and stolen items immediately

Filing of intake forms daily

Maintains a meticulous professional appearance

Receive, fold and restock linen daily

Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.

Suggests players in Caesars Rewards, Caesars Rewards App, Play by CR, and Caesars Rewards Visa.

Suggests products, services and experiences to guests.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must pass a drug test.

• Must be able to initiate and engage in conversation in a professional and friendly manner.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Must be willing to participate in on-going training

• Maintain knowledge of current property events, promotions and attractions.

• Must have the ability to grow clientele and suggest retail

• Must be able to work independently, with minimal supervision

• Must obtain a current Massage Therapist License recognized by the state and the local governing board

• Comfortable working in a fast paced, dynamic environment.

• Ability to work effectively in a team setting and independently.

• Must present a well-groomed appearance.

• Must adhere to uniform/appearance requirements

• Ability to appreciate and be friendly with all Harrah's Gulf Coast team members who are of various ethnic and cultural backgrounds

• Able to accept direction of Senior Leadership

Physical, Mental & Environmental Demands:


  • Able to read, write and speak English sufficiently to perform job.
  • Available to work any shift, holidays and weekends.
  • Responds to visual and aural cues.
  • Able to stand and walk for extended periods, at least 9 hours
  • Able to sit, stand, bend, crouch, stoop, reach and kneel when servicing guests
  • Able to lift 20 pounds.
