The Sr. QA Engineer / QA Lead will bring 5+ years of experience working within agile teams delivering quality software. The focus will be hands-on test automation and QA leadership including people leadership (i.e., one-on-ones with QA team, servant leader, remove blockers, coaching, performance reviews).
An ideal candidate is someone who wants to stay technical (hands-on test automation) and provide QA leadership. The QA lead will help drive modern testing practices at TSI (i.e., automation test suites, CI/CD, shift left approach, etc.). The candidate has a natural curiosity to stay aware of new developments in the QA domain.
Hands-on test automation for a scrum team
QA people leadership (i.e., one-on-ones, performance reviews, servant leadership, onboarding new hires)
QA leadership helping to drive modern testing practices and methodology at TSI
Drive quality metrics, dashboard, and reporting across projects
Generate consensus on QA methodology, processes, and tools
Enhance areas of testing and quality (i.e., security, performance, etc.)
Work closely with DevOps to define the optimal solution for each platform and scrum team
Work closely with product owners and developers to translate business requirements into test plans; work with resources to investigate and resolve issues
Look for ways to improve the overall quality and serve as an advocate for high quality standards
Coach and mentor team members
Consider the organization's entire infrastructure when making changes and improvements
Provide guidance on new technologies and continuous improvement in best practices
Creating, improving, and maintaining documentation

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
Strong hands-on test automation skills
5+ years of experience working within QA and agile teams
Experience working with modern QA practices (i.e., CI/CD, automation, DevOps, shift left, etc.)
Experience as QA Lead with people management skills
Experience in shaping QA methodology, processes and strategy
