Position Summary

As a Logistics Courier Team Lead you will assists the Area Supervisor in their day-to day hub operations and courier activities. You will be responsible for encouraging a positive culture and process as well as promoting excellence, improvement and recognition within the department.

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties may include but are not necessarily limited to the following:

• Handle Internal/external customer relations and emails, Problem Escalation/Resolution, and Process Improvement


• Coordinate with Supervisor to ensure Report Delivery, Route Optimization, OSC Utilization, Supply Coordination, Coverage, and Vehicle Maintenance.


• Train new hires and existing couriers when necessary


• Follow, understand and educate team on company policies


• Ensures policies are followed by team to maximize quality control and assurance


• Route Rides (For Quality Assurance & Test Runs for New/Modified Routes)


• Communicates all unresolved issues to the supervisor/manager for resolution


• Provides input to leadership and at times can lead the daily huddles


• Perform other related duties as assigned including temporary coverage responsibilities for area


• Route Coverage - Covers route/stop/delivery/runs when we have no other option but OSC

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent


• Must have a valid and clean driver's license for a minimum of 4 years


• Previous Experience as a Courier (Medical Courier preferred)


• Previous Leadership Experience a Plus


• Must Have Excellent Communication Skills both Verbal and Written.


• Must be proficient in MS Office and Excel


• Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) drug screen, MVR
