Job Description

Zapproved is seeking a Project Coordinator (Legal Operations) to join our growing legal software company headquartered in Portland, OR. As a Project Coordinator on the Legal Team, you will own the intake process for the Legal Team, vendor management process, records management, contract support, and other tasks vital to the day-to-day operations of our Legal Team. What You'll Be Doing:

In this role, you'll...

  • Assist the Legal Operations Manager with overseeing the company's consultant vendor request and approval processes

  • Review vendor SOWs and provide initial redlines to the Legal Team

  • Work closely with members of the Legal Team to develop and improve standardized forms, processes and procedures

  • Work cross-functionally to support Legal Team projects and process improvements

  • Manage and maintain electronic document storage systems

  • Provide contract support, including: obtain signatures on electronic documents, obtain copies of fully executed contracts, add key data into contract management software, and assist with compliance initiatives

  • Conduct initial review of incoming legal matters, request and obtain additional information and documentation as needed, and work cross-functionally to route matters to appropriate owners

  • Compile data and prepare reports for internal stakeholders

  • Conduct legal and business research as requested

  • Work cross functionally supporting Legal, Security and Compliance on special projects, including SOC II audit preparation and data mapping.

What You'll Need:

  • 2-3+ years of related work experience

  • Project management skills and great attention to detail and process

  • Excellent organizational skills and time management skills - experience working across multiple teams to keep projects on schedule

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Attention to detail. You spot the error or data discrepancy that most people miss.

  • Ability to apply functional knowledge and existing methodologies to solve complex problems or execute specialized projects.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office & G Suite

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent job experience

  • Prior experience working with a technology company and/or legal setting preferred
