Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Full Stack Software Developer II in San Diego, CA. This role is Full Stack, Front End oriented need (for now).

Duties:

• Work closely with product and development teams to create an amazing user experience


• Build integration and unit tests along with code


• Work in agile development environment with short sprints and standups


• Implement proof of concept, prototypes, and production-grade software


• Maintain and support existing software systems, test, and build infrastructure and production environments


• Assist support staff and team members in trouble-shooting software issues and implementing bug fixes


• Takes ownership of the code base


• Work to continually improve code quality, and get bugs fixed and deployed rapidly

REQUIREMENTS:

• Prefer Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related area of study


• Experience in or knowledge of JavaScript, ReactJS, Redux primarily and Java, Spring, Kotlin, Swift, Objective C, AWS secondarily


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Strong programming skills including software engineering methodologies and best practices


• Excellent HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills


• Experience in consuming RESTful APIs


• Experience working in a Linux development environment


• Knowledge of and experience with relational databases and non-relational databases, MySQL, Elasticsearch, Redis is helpful but not a top priority right away
