RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's client, a well-established and growing multi-plant manufacturer in the Greater Grand Rapids, MI area, is looking to add a CFO to their executive leadership team. The position will report to the President.

Summary:
The CFO is responsible for the overall leadership and management of the Finance organization to include budgeting, controlling, financial planning and analysis and internal controls.

Responsibilities:


  • Oversee and improve procedures that produce accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements prepared in accordance with GAAP Including, proper internal controls

  • Coordinate the preparation of the Company's monthly financial reporting package that is reviewed with the Management Team

  • Implement analytical frameworks (benchmarks, financial metrics, KPIs, dashboards) to measure financial/operating performance and evaluate business decisions

  • Work with the Senior Management Team to prepare an annual budget, perform analysis on variances to budget, and create monthly forecasts

  • Support the decision-making process and drive business profitability improvement

  • Focus on managing cash and working capital to assure there is sufficient liquidity to drive profitable growth

  • Maintain availability of adequate financing and credit to support the Company's internal and M&A funding requirements

  • Continuous improvement mind-set with demonstrated ability to improve processes through lean principles and the use of best practices Lead continuous improvement to drive an efficient functional organization

  • Support M&A and Business Development functions as well as all organization transformation plans







REQUIREMENTS:



  • BS / BA in accounting, finance or related field; CPA and/or advanced degree preferred; Lean manufacturing and/or six sigma training is a plus

  • 10+ years of experience in senior Finance leadership roles with at least 3 years as a Chief Financial Officer for a $100 million plus manufacturing company

  • Significant experience in FP&A, with an understanding of global operations and US GAAP private company reporting
