Kforce's client, a well-established and growing multi-plant manufacturer in the Greater Grand Rapids, MI area, is looking to add a CFO to their executive leadership team. The position will report to the President.
The CFO is responsible for the overall leadership and management of the Finance organization to include budgeting, controlling, financial planning and analysis and internal controls.
Oversee and improve procedures that produce accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements prepared in accordance with GAAP Including, proper internal controls
Coordinate the preparation of the Company's monthly financial reporting package that is reviewed with the Management Team
Implement analytical frameworks (benchmarks, financial metrics, KPIs, dashboards) to measure financial/operating performance and evaluate business decisions
Work with the Senior Management Team to prepare an annual budget, perform analysis on variances to budget, and create monthly forecasts
Support the decision-making process and drive business profitability improvement
Focus on managing cash and working capital to assure there is sufficient liquidity to drive profitable growth
Maintain availability of adequate financing and credit to support the Company's internal and M&A funding requirements
Continuous improvement mind-set with demonstrated ability to improve processes through lean principles and the use of best practices Lead continuous improvement to drive an efficient functional organization
Support M&A and Business Development functions as well as all organization transformation plans
BS / BA in accounting, finance or related field; CPA and/or advanced degree preferred; Lean manufacturing and/or six sigma training is a plus
10+ years of experience in senior Finance leadership roles with at least 3 years as a Chief Financial Officer for a $100 million plus manufacturing company
Significant experience in FP&A, with an understanding of global operations and US GAAP private company reporting
