Job Description:


Kforce has a client in search of a DEO Wave 7 candidate in Niceville, FL.

Key Tasks:

  • Call Center, answering phones/chats/self-service tickets, documenting tickets; Fast paced, high volume, potentially emotionally charged environment (callers may be frustrated, emotional)

  • Customer is Florida's Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) where we receive calls from Florida residents regarding their unemployment claims

  • Temporary position - no benefits (medical offered after reaching a certain number of hours worked); Longevity of position depends on call center demand


  • Agent, ideally in a call center or help desk environment

  • Strong customer service skills (call center, retail, hospitality industry, etc.)

  • Clear verbal & written communication skills

  • Must be proficient in use of computers, (i.e., basic computer functions, including proficiency in Office 365, internet access)

  • Ideally experience in using a ticketing system


  • 100% remote; Must have ability to work in an area free from distractions; With reliable highspeed internet, laptop/desktop and headset

  • Agents are required to work one of the following schedules; Keep in mind, schedules are subject to change without notice:

  • 08:00 AM - 4:30 PM EST Monday - Friday

  • 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM EST Monday - Friday

  • 08:00 AM - 6:30 PM EST Monday - Thursday


  • Paid and instructor led via Microsoft Teams

  • Training classes will begin promptly at either 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM EST or 10:00 AM - 06:30 PM EST; Please ensure you arrive on time as scheduled

  • Schedules go into effect the day after training is completed
