We are seeking experienced Millwrights to join our Wadesboro team. This is a pivotal role where you will be responsible for using specialized tools to build and repair machines. You will also set up machinery based on highly technical instructions and blueprints and occasionally move machines to different locations. It is the responsibility of this role to make sure that all machines operate properly while minimizing downtime.

If you have the following, we want to hear from you:

  • 2 years of proven experience as a Millwright or in a similar role.
  • Maintenance oriented but will not need to know daily maintenance operations
  • Hands-on experience with industrial equipment.
  • Concrete construction and finishing experience.
  • Ability to read blueprints.
  • Strong communication and computational skills.
  • Analytical thinking skills, problem solving ability.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Understanding of confined spaces, LOTO, harness and other safety rules.

Essential Functions

  • Relocate and installing new machinery.
  • Repair broken or defective machine parts, using welding and brazing tools.
  • Screw conveyor assembly, construction and installation.
  • Rigging and heavy equipment operation.
  • Align equipment by using specialized tools.
  • Review and follow highly technical and complex machinery manuals.
  • Disassemble machine parts when transporting or repairing them and reassemble the parts.
