The University of Miami has an exciting opportunity for a Decision Support Analyst.

The Decision Support Analyst will provide ongoing program development support for University of Miami Health System 340B Retail/Contract Pharmacy Programs.

  • Collaborates with information technology (IT) and decision support resources in assisting sites, departments, service lines and individuals in the identification of information or data requirements to support 340B activities.

  • Performs quality assurance audits on a continuous basis of all aspects of the organization's 340B Program including contract pharmacy operations, financial transactions, patient validations, and provider qualifications.

  • Actively participates on the 340B Operational Committee.

  • Develops and maintains relationships with contract pharmacy partners.

  • Collaborates with directors, managers, departments, sites and staff representatives to communicate improvements and promote broad participation in 340B activities across the organization.

  • Provides problem resolution and appropriate follow-up with vendors and wholesalers when necessary.

  • Collaborates and is responsible for multiple 340B contract pharmacy vendors and pharmacy wholesalers and provides timely resolution and/or communication of any issues.

  • Assesses opportunities for cost savings and business improvement in 340B contract pharmacy utilization and prepares statements for this purpose.

  • Oversees invoicing and payment processing of contract pharmacies and reconciles them to utilization data.

  • Prepares reports, predictions, and develops recommendations based on research to track and manage essential aspects of the program and make improvements and/or ensure compliance.
