Associate, Credit Risk Management
Do you want to play a role in global commerce?
As a member of the global Credit Risk Management group you will utilize a variety of financial information to assess customer credit risk and to mitigate Prologis' counterparty credit risk exposure. Transaction types include both leases and capital deployment, including build-to-suit and asset acquisitions. In addition to individual transactions, your analysis will be used to better understand Prologis' global industrial portfolio (industry trends, portfolio concentrations, Watch-List), and assist in the Credit Committee process. Additionally, you will utilize databases to track and report on aged accounts receivable and bad debt summaries. You will leverage excellent communications skills to users including regional operations teams and management, as well as high levels of company senior management. You will also aid in process improvement, assist in the company initiative of data analytics, and gain a real-world understanding of global industrial real estate. Individual will have the unique function of overseeing the entire global portfolio. This position will be based in our Denver office.
Here's how to do that:
Analyze complex customer financial information (both quantitative and qualitative) to assess the default risk in a variety of transaction types and sizes.
Manage Credit Committee process.
Harmonize monthly A/R balances for Operations leadership using Tableau and Salesforce software packages.
Aid in preparing quarterly Watch-List, credit trend, and forecasting summaries for Executive Committee.
Consult directly with high levels of Prologis senior management in providing guidance on how to structure transactions to mitigate financial risk to Prologis.
Effectively work with multiple North American and International markets and understand the nuances (market lease terms, default protocols, security deposit customs, etc.) of industrial leases within each market.
Suggest various leasing approaches that balance the financial risk to Prologis as well as our customers' needs.

Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) in business (Finance or Accounting) or economics.
Excellent analytical and written communication skills, including the ability to present and engage with senior management
Strong interest in the real estate field and career advancement
Fundamental understanding basic accounting standards
Desire to digitally translate over 15 different languages to compile accurate financial data and customer understanding.
Strong IT and systems proficiency including knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, and Tableau software packages.
Ability to quickly adapt to change given uncertain economic events, unique building attributes that can arise in any transaction, and given the large vicissitudes ongoing within the Prologis portfolio, with the goal to increase shareholder value.
Target base compensation range of: $79,000-$100,00 plus target bonus to be discussed during initial phone interview.
