The Director of Corporate Systems is responsible for managing the recommendation for, design, implementing and maintaining a technology systems that supports the Corporate business strategy in collaboration with all lines of business within the organization. This position must understand, partner and work effectively with IT Leadership across all the lines of business within the organization to be able to implement solutions that ensure both corporate and operational systems operate effectively while maintaining data integrity and efficiency that will allow operating lines to achieve their business goals and that position the Company as an industry leader.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • 50% - Direct the management and development of corporate systems and applications utilized by multiple lines of business including Workday, ReAcct, Assurance, Active Directory integration, contractor management.

    • Provide management oversight for all Workday FIN integrations and technical needs to optimize efficiencies of the accounting, treasury and tax business processes.

    • Provide management oversight and support of Workday HCM as needed to ensure system optimization.

    • Overall responsibility and oversight of the audit and security requirements for all corporate systems.

    • Overall responsibility for the management of software development efforts with third party vendors and/or the integration of third party vendors' software within Corporate systems and those systems leveraged by other lines of business that have dependencies with Corporate systems. Assign development efforts and responsibilities for development of systems to staff members.

  • 30% - Provide strategic and technical leadership for the Corporate Development Team, ensuring all team members are held to a high and consistent standard for accuracy and timeliness in performance. Advance growth and development opportunities for staff. Ensures employees have a meaningful professional development plan that supports the employee's career goals. Defines and manages the achievement of performance objectives for all direct reports; provides frequent feedback and meets with direct reports on a regular basis for coaching discussions on all aspects of the employee's performance and development. Conducts meaningful annual performance reviews on a timely basis and makes salary adjustment recommendations in accordance with the Company's salary administration plan. Manages the interviewing and hiring of new staff and facilitates or conducts effective onboarding and orientation for new employees.

  • 15% - Oversee the management responsibilities of the department including preparing and recommending budgets, reviewing and approving expense-related items, participate in Corporate cross-functional leadership initiatives.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • 5% - Partner with management to address special project needs.


  • A Bachelor's degree in technology, management or related field and a minimum of 10 years technology experience in financial services is required. A master's degree is preferred.

  • Proven leadership and a minimum of 5 years management experience is required.

  • A minimum of 3 years Workday or other HCM/FIN system is required.

  • Certification in one or more project management approaches including SCRUM, Kanban, or PMP.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • The ability to lead, influence and set strategic direction with all levels in the organization is required.
