Kforce has a client in search of an IT Manager (Network & Systems) with ERP in Foothill Ranch, CA.
Key Tasks:
This individual provides leadership, vision, and management to the Information Technology (IT) department
Interacts with other senior managers or executives to strategize how IT offerings can improve their business operations
Leads a team of functional analysts focused in specific business aspects of the company
Establishes operational objectives and work plans, and delegate assignment to subordinates
Responsible for developer working within the ERP application as well as creating transitional interface programs during an ERP implementation
Manage the in-house and external resources related to the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of Microsoft Dynamics GP systems
Administers the capital expenditure budget for all technology initiatives
Analyze and approve monthly IT spending and look for ways to cut/eliminate waste and find ways to save money (Cellular devices and monthly maintenance contracts)
Manage and annually renew SLA contract with FAI
Supervise the ordering, acquisition, inventorying and disposition of hardware and software
Ensure the ethical utilization of technological resources, including licenses, permission for technology security purposes
Serve as the primary contact with outside vendors in the generation of RFP bids, contracts, agreements, and other major vendor relations including outsourcing of IT infrastructure
Provides and assists CFO with respect to recommendations for hires, terminations, promotions, transfers, performance appraisals, training, and development
Through guidance, helps IT personnel to grow in their position, develop their skills and future potential and maintain a high level of knowledge in computer technology
Partner effectively with headquarters personnel in Japan
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four-year college or university in Computer Science; and 7-10 years of related experience and/or training; Or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience with systems roll-outs, business process re-engineering, facilitating change management, managing systems interface development, conducting user training, and providing on-going systems support
10+ years of IT management experience including experience with managing teams (5+) and multiple silos simultaneously
7+ years of experience in leading software systems implementation
Experience in evaluating, negotiating, and managing systems integrators, software vendors and contractors
Ability to effectively work with the IT management team towards the common goals of the department
Excellent team player, problem solver with a high level of self-motivation and initiative
Able to meet deadlines on a consistent basis
Project management skills
Ability to work independently (and with limited supervision) while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and departments at all levels within the organization
Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to analyze detail and perform structured decision-making on a daily basis
Must be capable of managing multiple priorities effectively and be able to identify and recommend best course of action from several alternatives
